Ar-Rawha Well is a famous resting place on the way from Madinah to Badr. It is called "Al-Rawha" because travelers used to stop and rest there.
The place is linked to many events from the life of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). He would stop there during Hajj, Umrah, or while returning from journeys. He also prayed in one of the small mosques in this area.
Abdullah ibn Omar (may Allah be pleased with him) said that the Prophet (peace be upon him) prayed at a small mosque near Al-Rawha.
